INGREDIENTS

Fresh kinoo (30%), oranges (22%), gulgul lemon (11%), sulphur-free cane sugar, lime juice. Net weight 350g per unit.

STORAGE AND CARE

Store in a cool, dry place before opening. Once opened, refrigerate and use within 6 months. Always use a clean, dry spoon to prevent early spoilage.

Yes, it is. That's the citrus rind coming through. To balance it, the kinoo and orange bring natural sweetness and the gulgul lemon adds the tartness and rind character that gives marmalade its edge. So it's bittersweet by design.

Why does this marmalade contain citrus rind?

Rind is actually what defines marmalade — without it, it's just citrus jam. The peel brings the bitterness that balances the sweetness that marmalade is known for. Leaving it in is traditional, not an oversight.

Why does the colour vary between batches?

Kinoo, orange, and gulgul lemon are seasonal fruit, so their exact shade shifts a little from one harvest to the next — sometimes a deeper amber, sometimes lighter gold. It's cooked with fresh fruit each time, not a fixed dye or flavouring, so a bit of natural variation in colour is a sign it's real fruit each time, not a formula.
